James Pollock MRICS, the principal behind Pollock CPA, has over 15 years experience in the UK commercial property market.
James started his working career at DTZ, London in 1996 where he qualified as a chartered surveyor. He spent 6 years working across a number of disciplines including National Investment, Landlord & Tenant, Valuation, Agency & Development and Tenant Representation. His later focus in London was on the agency and development side of the business, where he was involved with a number of high profile multi-phase business parks in the South East acting for major institutional clients both on the acquisition and disposal side.
The move back to Yorkshire beckoned with Knight Frank in 2002 where he initially concentrated on the office agency and development side of the business. He then transferred across to the Investment side of the business where he was soon promoted to Partner. The main focus was on investment disposals and acquisitions across the commercial property spectrum as well as advising on development funding opportunities.
James continues to deal with investment agency and funding across all commercial sectors. James’ principle markets are within the north of England, in particular Yorkshire, Lancashire and the North East. James acts for a variety of investor clients including funds, developers, property companies, high net worth individuals and a number of private investors.
The broad experience that James has developed means that along with his general property experience he is well placed to provide in depth investment advice in respect of all acquisitions and disposals as well as funding opportunities.
